My hero Seth Godin once wrote that the first 2,500 blog posts are the hardest, and by the time you write that many posts you’ll have developed a habit that will be hard to break. This is my 100th blog post since last November, and I can already feel positive momentum, which is always spurred on by new subscribers, all of you who leave comments or email me, and all the other feedback I get. Of course, I might also feel the positive momentum simply because I’m getting married six hours from now, and I feel positive momentum everywhere.
Shoes are shined, I now know how to tie a bow tie, and there are bottles of wine on the bar that are lined up like little Malbec soldiers. I can’t wait to see Amy.
Hearty congratulations, Will! Your personal and professional lives are certainly in synch. As one who will celebrate 40 years of marriage this summer, I applaud the institution and applaud you and your bride. (And I thought your “getting married in 2-and-a-half days” was an April Fool!)
