Amy and I went on a mini honeymoon, and we had a great time. We stayed on an organic farm and bed and breakfast in Madison County, Virginia, where I had to resist the urge to offer unsolicited online marketing advice (they are such a unique, interesting, and well-run farm that they would really benefit from tweaking a few things on their website and adding a few social media elements to their marketing plan).
I learned from my honeymoon that: (1) after an awesome wedding, all you want to do is talk about your wedding, so it’s a good idea to plan for a honeymoon that’s conducive to that, (2) it’s good to disconnect from the Internet and leave work behind for a few days, and (3) being married is great.
I’m glad to be back at work, taking phone calls, and picking up right where things left off last week.
